Kevin S. Kirkevold,                   Senior Attorney

WSBA, YCBA, NAELA

Kevin was admitted to practice in 1972, and was employed by the firm of Tunstall & Hettinger. Tunstall & Hettinger was an old-line firm in Yakima with a substantial senior law/estate planning practice. As the years have gone by, the main focus of Kevin's practice has become increasingly involved with the multitude of legal issues facing our seniors, including matters such as wills, trusts, guardianships, Medicaid, and nursing home issues.

Kevin is a long-standing member of the Elder Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, as well as the Washington Chapter of N.A.E.L.A.

Kevin is frequently asked to speak on elder law matters, and has been a presenter at Elder Law and Guardianship Seminars sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association. He received the Washington State Bar Association Pro Bono Publico Service Commendation in 2007 and was voted Yakima Valley's Top Lawyer in a poll conducted by the Yakima Business Journal in 2008. Kevin is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and Yakima County Bar Association.
